LEAHYS LUCK
have been performing Irish folk music for twenty one years, playing at festivals and performing arts centers throughout the Midwest. Their five albums reflect an evolution of scope and sophistication. The band originated with brothers Tom and Brian Leahy and their six children. All but one of the children left our home town starting careers in all corners of the United States. Today, world renowned bayanist (button accordion) Stas Venglevski joined the brothers with Evan to produce lively, widely accessible world music.

2/6/2013:Not too many bands can say they've been around for over 20 years. Here's a synopsis of where the original band members are living. Michelle lives in Ojai, CA, Sarah in Orlando, FL, Maura in Concord, NH, Caitlin in Boulder, CO, and Colin in Port Angeles, WA. In their absence, we've come to rely on other musicians such as Stas. We are pleased to announce Violinist Tatiana Migliaccio from the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music will be lending her classical influence to Leahys Luck's already diverse sound. This St. Patrick's Day weekend will be a special reunion with Michelle, Maura, Sarah, and Caitlin joining the band. Please do check the "appearances" page for the most complete up-to-date listings.
